The first letter from the end.

I know, I haven't blogged for over a week.
Computer crashed on Wednesday because of a terrible virus.
It drove me up the wall, really.
At least I got to catch up on reading though.

Anyway, that's not the point of this post.
The point is - the weird random dreams I am having again.
It always worked (earlier) to blog about my dreams,
Since it'd stop them from recurring.
I hope it works this time,
Because I don't want to deal with this one person right now.. or ever.

This was probably the first & hopefully my last dream about XYZ.
It didn't make much sense (do they ever?) but was intense.
I am not entirely sure how/why a long lost friend got dragged into the picture.
I wish XYZ would stop infesting my dreams & idle thoughts.
I am not strong enough.. at least not yet to be able to deal with another attempt (& failure).

I got college @ 8.40 which gives me a good whole hour before I leave.

First day of the second semester.

My day was perfect until some idiot decided to fuck it up for me.
But let's talk about the good part, OK?

Semester II.
It was great meeting friends back in college (:
Especially because there was so much to talk about when me met.
& as soon as we started with the first class we were handed our project topics.
What a way to welcome :P
No really, I think we have some decent project work to do this time around.

This semester we have some decent subjects:
English Literature, Pol. Science & Psychology.
Then there are the sucky ones that remind me of commerce D:
.. Marketing, ECS & Management.
Ah well, I'd have to deal I suppose x_x'

Oh & of course, results are out.
I cleared all subjects, yay!
I expected to screw up IC, but luckily that didn't happen.

Yeah, now college at 12.30 tomorrow.
& that's all there's to it.

Of MNS and social imbeciles.

We all should support Raj Thackeray and take his initiative ahead by doing more. Here are some examples: -

• We should teach our kids that if they're second in class, don't study harder.. just beat up the student coming first and throw him out of the school.
• The Parliament should have only 'Delhi-ites' as it is located in Delhi.
• The Prime-minister, President and all other leaders should only be from Delhi.
• No Hindi movie should be made in Bombay. Only Marathi.
• At every state border, buses, trains, flights should be stopped and staff changed to local men.
• All Maharashtrians working abroad or in other states should be sent back as they are SNATCHING employment from Locals.
• Lord Shiva, Ganesha and Parvati should not be worshipped in our state as they belong to north (Himalayas).
• Visits to Taj Mahal should be restricted to people from UP only.
• Relief for farmers in Maharashtra should not come from centre because that is the money collected as Tax from whole of India, so why should it be given to someone in Maharashtra?
• Let's support kashmiri Militants because they are right in killing and injuring innocent people for benifit of there state and community.
• Let's throw all MNCs out of Maharashtra, why should they earn from us? We will open our own Maharashtra Microsoft, MH Pepsi and MH Marutis.
• Let's stop using cellphones, emails, TV, foreign movies and dramas. James Bond should speak Marathi.
• We should be ready to die hungry or buy food at 10 times higher price but should not accept imports from other states.
• We should not allow any industry to be setup in Maharashtra because all machinery comes from outside.
• We should STOP using local trains. Trains are not manufactured by Marathi manoos and Railway Minister is a Bihari.
• Ensure that all our children are born, grow, live and die without ever stepping out of Maharashtra, then they will become true Marathis.

Almost Sem II

I feel like I am out of my mind.
I can't sleep at all.
I think it's to do with this time of the year.
I absolutely love winters.
& night's fun during winters =]

I slept at 3.00 last night,
& 24 hours later, I am still not in bed :P
College reopens day after,
So that'd probably give me reason to get my ass to bed.

As of now,
I just took a really nice shower :)
Watched this fantastic movie ~ The Hunting Party.
The weather's getting cold
& it's great because I have been getting sick of the heat.
The days are still quite hot though,
Oh well..
Something's better than nothing.

I miss you at times.
On days that I am excessively happy,
On days that I feel empty within.
& I hate every second that I spend,
missing you and trying to remember what your voice sounds like,
but as it turns out, there's nothing I can do about it.
These short-lived stabs of pain are something I have started to get used to.

It sucks, the fact that I can't just pick up the phone and call you..
and just talk..
Not about anything in particular.
Just to hear your voice.
& to hear you talk.

I miss you so much,
& I wish I didn't have to lose my best friend.
While I choke on my own tears,
And as hard it is to accept.
I should probably learn and live with the fact,
Not talking any more is for the best.

This is going to be short & sweet.

1. Projects! Now who doesn't hate projects? I love the individual ones. It's the group projects that make you want to wring a neck or two.
   
2. 'Oh meh gawd! Haiiiiiii!' +hug hug+ +fake pretentious kiss kiss+ You know what? It's fine the first time. A little weird the second time. But it's just bloody crazy when you make a custom out of it. You aren't meeting +insert name here+ after the last kumbh ka mela, so how about cutting the crap?
3. If you're going to talk like ~ 'But! I didn't knew it only!' OR 'Morning morning, don't bug me!' OR 'Let me comb my hairs.' ~ What the eff are you doing in BMM? How about, attending grade II grammar lessons first.
4. Please don't tell a certain girl called Esha Rihal that you don't know how to write a CD unless you want to die or something.
   
5. No darling, you don't have to wear your entire wardrobe all at once :(
6. Girls, I know the availabitly of straight guys in a BMM class is scarce; but that doesn't mean that even the lamest guy needs to have a dozen girls throwing themselves at him.
7. Why do certain people have to have an opinion about 'everything' under the sun whether or not it's of any consquence in the on-going discsussion?
8. Please stop boasting about how you got into college using 'influence' .. it makes you look like a complete idiot.

This a continuation of sorts of my previous post.

• I don't like wearing watches, braceletes, bands .. basically anything on my wrist. It makes me feel really uncomfortables. I don't like wearing rings either. I can't write when I wear them :P
• I write, eat, comb, drink, smoke .. (everything humanly possible) .. with my left hand. I am not one of those left-handed people who only write with their left hand :x
• I love to eat in empty restaurants. Love, LOVE .. love it! I don't like entering a crowded or even semi-crowded restaurant on a date. Makes me feel rather awkward. It's the same with public transport. I love travelling in deserted local trains, when just a soul or two is in sight. & I love working out in an empty gym, makes me feel like I own the place :P (I am the girl you will usually see rushing into the elevator and pushing the buttons really quick so that she doesn't have to share elevator space with anyone else!)
  
• I have been in love with fictional characters twice.
• I love caramel popcorn ♥!
• I love terraces, especially those of exceptionally tall buildings.
• I love the way I feel right before I sneeze :]
• I have Synesthesia.

I found out about the free hugs campaign while watching Oprah.
& I think it was about a year back?
Because I don't watch Oprah any more.
Anyway, so I saw this video today.
& it's amazing that a young man would have the courage to do such a thing.
I say 'courage' because as Vinit rightly said, Indians aren't exactly very open to physical contact.
As you'll watch the video, you'd notice 'apprehension' in some hugs.
But what's shocking is the fact that so many people did come up & get their free hug :)

In the face of an economic crisis that's looming over our heads.
& there are so many bombings all over the country..
& there are riots happening in the name of what language one speaks..
.. this IS a refreshing change.
Please do spread the word & let your friends know about this one =)

Yes. The moment that most of the world population had been waiting for finally arrived.
Barack Obama was elected as the first African - American President of the United States.
Where's the confetti?
Down the toilet !
Where else was it supposed to be?
I was rooting for McCain.
Not that I gave myself any reason to believe that he'd win.
Rational thinking doesn't seem to be most people's strongest point.
I don't think there was any *rational* reason to have Obama elected
(not to mention, by such an overwhelming majority).

Take a look at this and this.
& once you're done.
How about give this thing some thought?
What are Barack Obama's accomplishments?
His colour?
The fact that African-Americans have been badly treated?
The fact that he gives good speeches?
The fact that he is charming?
The fact that hope & change are the only words in his dictionary?
The fact that he's been in politics for only three years?

I mean, come on people!
I am not saying that McCain was exceptional.
& that his economic views were excellent.
But he's sure as heck more experienced & honest about what he wants.

I don't agree with Obama's morals.
I don't agree with his policy of Socialism.
The U.S. being the only close to perfect capitalist economy in the world..
.. it's about to be 'changed' ..

May *reason* & *rationality* bless this country until the next presidential election.
& for their sake, I hope Obama you prove me wrong.

Fashion

Hii.
I just got home from the movies.
I watched Fashion. Finally.
To tell you the truth, I am not sure whether I liked it or not.
The movie, it's 180 minutes long.
Fuck. It felt like it won't get over.
At one point I thought I'd grow old in that theatre.
& that gave me a terrible headache & I hate headaches :'(

So anyway, getting back to what I was trying to say.
I hate how Madhur Bhandarkar movies focus on the negatives & the negatives alone.
Why always show the bad side?
I find it hard to believe that there's no 'good' side to the world of Fashion.
I don't ask for a rosy, candy-flossed version.
But how about the whole truth & not just pieces of it?

Models do drugs.
Models are arrogant.
Models sleep around.
Models have no ethics.
Seriously?
I wanted to watch a movie that goes beyond the stereotypical image of a 'model'..
Tell me something that hasn't already been said or shown.

I think Priyanka & Mugdha were quite average.
Not quite their best performance/s.
But since Priyanka has already had so many flops this year,
.. it was a refreshing change :)

Kangana was fantastic.
I think that's a girl who can act.
Although I am getting sick of seeing her in the same kind of roles.
Woh Lamhe, Gangster & now Fashion..
it makes me wonder if she's capable of other forms of acting? A comedy perhaps.
But as far as Fashion is considered, her acting was epic ♥.

On a scale of 1 to 10.. I'd give it a 6.
It should've been Kangana's movie, not Priyanka's.
And that's that.

1. I can NOT not not eat vegetarian food when there is an option of non-vegetarian (esp. Chicken). I will never enter a vegetarian restaurant unless I am low on cash or someone else is paying for my food xD
2. I detest treadmills from the bottom of my heart :/
3. I cannot stand summers or heat :@ If I spend too much time in the sun, I'd end up having a seizure. I'd much rather die freezing to death.
4. I cannot sleep without a blanket :(
5. I can use incredibly colourful foul language when instigated :P
6. I don't support Barack Obama.
   
7. I HATE buying pirated books off the street. I think it's disrespect of the highest regard. You will never catch me with one of those & you're done for if I catch you with one ;)
8. I am not sure if this is true - but people tell me - I am a bitch without a cause.
9. I can't help being sarcastic. It pisses people off 99.9 % of the time.
10. I have a weird obsession with odd numbers. I have to do everything in odd numbers. Like, eat three biscuits or five. I can't eat four biscuits o.o
11. I have a blue t-shirt that I have been wearing since I was nine years old. I can't believe it's lasted so long & it's the most comfortable piece of clothing I have :)
12. I can't stand headaches. I *have* to pop a pill as soon as I sense one coming.
13. I have the ability to survive with my computer + internet alone for an infinite number of hours. I just don't get sick of it.
14. I check Facebook every few minutes.
15. My wardrobe is usually a mess :)
16. I *hate* being photographed.
17. I get bored of people, which is why I never have a permanent set of friends.
18. I love food. I am a 110% foodie. I can eat and eat and eat. I should marry a chef :D
19. I hate long journeys. I get way too restless & people travelling with me will most likely have a bad time :P

Crash & Burn Girl

Yes. It's been a while since I blogged.
I haven't much to write about.
Or maybe I am a tad too lazy?

I have been enjoying my vacations though.
Well, at least parts of it.
Sometimes it gets way too boring.
Sitting idle, not having anything worth doing.

But at least I am getting time to catch up on reading.
I stumbled upon several interesting books the other day.
But I am not buying any of those till I finish Atlas Shrugged.
& then I can go on the mini-book buying-spree.

Oh & I love the new layout.

I still haven't watched either of the highly publicised movies that were released earlier this week.
In fact, I have a whole lot of movies sitting in my downloads folder.
I have currently got :

I won't lie. I thoroughly enjoyed it this time.
But I haven't had another since. Hmm.
Come to think of it, college has a huge part to play in me getting 'hooked'.
It's hard to explain.. but you'd probably understand if you're a fellow smoker.

Over two more weeks before college really starts.
I am looking forward to the second semester.
& the fact that we're going to have a whole different set of subjects is exciting.
I wonder how I did in my tests.
I almost forgot we had them. LOL.

I need to find 'real' topics to blog on rather than just rant about my day to day endeavours.
